Glad to know these states still allow AoA lawsuits:

Only a few states in the United States still allow alienation of affection lawsuits.

These states, as of 12/2009, are: Hawaii, Illinois, Mississippi, New Mexico, North Carolina, South Dakota, and Utah.

NC also has another anti-adultery on the books called "Criminal Conversation"

Essentially it states that if someone has sexual intercourse with your spouse while you are married, then you can sue them for criminal conversation.

Theoretically the only real defense is that it did not happen, but theory is not reality.

I looked into this for a while to go after POSOW. I was told that I had to demonstrate damage done to the M due to the act.
