Afternoon everyone,

I'd like to see if you guys can recommend a keylogger for me, secret of course. H has been acting extra sweet lately and my instincts aren't comfortable, course I've been on edge for a year now but I've noticed my instincts, though vague sometimes, get stronger when somethings up and there's been contact.

I had installed a cell phone spy at one point, which worked fantastic, but cost a lot. I felt guilty not only for the money but also the secrecy and I confessed to him about it after a weekend. Being within 7 days I received a full refund. I wish I'd never done that...

He's got a new phone with anroid on it now and I'm unfamiliar with that system so far and I don't have the money to reinvest in a spy program.

I noticed his histories have all been cleared and he's removed the Internet Explorer icon from his desktop in a mass organization (his desktop WAS really cluttered). He does regular internet surfing with Google Chrome and watches his porn on the IE. The IE history was set to 0 days so I reset that but I'd really like to get a keylogger.

Can you guys recommend a fairly inexpensive one that will fly under the radar of Trend Micro, Spysweeper and possibly Registry Mechanic? Those are the only programs I think I'd have a problem with revealing the logger...

Hi Phoenix, I installed Desktop Shark on both our computers. It has an icon yet I renamed it & my WH hasn't questioned it. I just hid it under all the other ones. I also password protected it so if he does click on it he can't get into it.

It run fine with Norton & it was free. It records every key stroke & take screen shots every few seconds. I like it.

If your WH knows computers really well & would notice a new icon then you might want to try something else.

How I found this was by doing a Google search for Keyloggers. A bunch showed up & if you are willing to pay a fee for one then you can get one that might not show up on the desktop.

With my WH he will never find it ;-)

Good luck to you!

Lol, after the organizing he'd find an icon. He's tried to be stealthy but he's no good at it but has gotten better and better at it with every confrontation about it. The screenshots yours takes every few minutes, does it slow your computer at all?

I used a keylogger and it was discovered in 2 hours. I even paid for it. It wasn't eblaster. My WH played an RPG and it slowed the computer down HUGE. That is why he went looking for it. I received emails about the chatlogs he had written to OW in that time and that was enough for me to see that he had been having a PA. I didn't install another one because I had enough evidence.

I don't know all of your history Pheonix. Why are you using the keylogger? Is it to see continued contact after an attempt at reconciliation or is it to find proof of an affair for exposure?

Um, it's more because he's been so sneaky in the past. There have been many ways and varied methods he's tried to maintain contact with OW. E-mails from a lesser used account, texts, e-mail to text because they don't show up as phone numbers on wireless history, OW changed her phone number and I wasn't sure of it at first but when he tried the e-mail to text and it ended up in the draft folder I knew. He's also e-mailed and deleted and forgotten to empty the trash. A friend mentioned her through text as 'Charlie'.

OW is supposedly an hour away now instead of living in the same city he works in. She's supposedly pregnant with a boyfriends baby which caused waves here at home when H found out. But with all the secrecy and continued attempts to communicate I find it hard to beleive if a way came across he might be able to contact her secretly, that he wouldn't jump on it.

I see that you have a thread in recovery. I quickly glanced through it. I am wondering. Are you as a couple trying to recover your marriage? The reason I ask is because I KNOW that at least ONE stipulation that I would have would be that I would be able to snoop however and whenever I deemed necessary. Is there a NC letter from your WH to OW that you approved and then sent? Are you doing any of this the MB way?

Hi, the desktop shark I use does not slow our computer down yet my WH does not play RPG games on it & I'm the one who uses it the most.

I'm going to check out the other one offered on here. As my WH & I head into recovery I need to make sure that I can verify his words. That is one of the ways he will earn back my trust.

I hope you find one you can use.
