Hello All, Haven't been on here in quite some time so here is my story... http://forum.marriagebuilders.com/u...in=153962&Number=2155440#Post2155440Sadly, my ex married OM this past weekend. My children cannot stand him and my ex knows it but doesn't care. I will give one example of who OM is and leave it at that. My S7 was asked recently by OM how he felt about him marrying his mother? My son, according to him and my D8, hesitated quite a bit in his response. OM's reply to my son, "if you don't like it then go move in with your father". I won't waste the time listing the poor ways he treats my children but I will be watching closely and take the necessary steps to protect them. MMF

How does your wife square this with her instincts as a Mother, or does OM have her mind so warped she thinks this is normal?

Sounds like grounds to file for sole physical and legal. What�s your current status?
Be the rock for your kids. Be their comfort blanket and source of safety. Let them know that no matter what THEY will come first in your life.
Don�t date for a good while. Finding a woman that can deal with the visitation situation is a great thing, but not easy to find.
Document how your children are treated and take her to court if necessary.

So sorry, MMF. I've seen the same thing happen with a former friend of mine--she completely fails to protect her children from the OM and his venom, and she will do anything to keep her relationship with this POS.
I hate it when the children get caught in all of this. Be sure to give them lots of love and see if you can get them into counseling so they don't see this as their fault.

MMF How can your X feel so little for her children's feelings. Too bad your D8 did not say "I am ready to pack my bag". It is unfortunate your children are so young that they cannot make their own choice. At some point they will come home to you. This OM only cares about "his needs" not anything that will destroy his fantasy. Stay strong.

Yes I agree, see if you can get full custody, you do not want this to happen to your children!! http://www.cbsnews.com/8301-504083_162-20004781-504083.htmlHe was only there for 2 weeks till the OM killed the boy, his mom had summer visitations so he was going to stay there for the FULL summer!! The dad tried getting FULL custody but couldn't because she is the mother...SIGH I cried when I heard this story, it happened in our city! OH and one more thing!!! She married this man even though he was abusing him, and hitting him, they had to leave the poor boy locked up in his room so the court wouldn't suspect anything when they got married, how SICK!!
