Have some info on ow,just need some expert advice on where to go to gather more info on ow family.How did ya'll go about digging for info?Want to go about things in the best way.Have to be careful w/ some of these background chk sites.Any advice out there?would really appreciate any help i could get.

In my sitch I didn't have to pay to get the info on OW parents. It did take a little dective work though.
The sites I used were intellius- didn't give much free information but helped me find out the name of OW's hometown and names of possible relatives. Zaba search- once I had OW's home town I searched her name and the name of possible relatives. Finally I used Google phonebook to get the address and phone number. Her parents are apparently listed. To use Google phonebook you type "phonebook:"- with out quotation marks of course, then type the name and state you believe they are in.
For me it so happened that I knew OW middle name which is a female version of her dad's first name. That info helped me pin down which of the possible relatives were probably her parents.
In the end it's lots of connect the dots and using various sources to confirm you are on the right track. In my sitch when OW found out her parents got a certified letter telling them about the A she knew it had gone nuclear. Even though it took me an extra week to find her parents and get the letter there. I don't regret sending a letter to her family because it helped ensure she wouldn't want to deal with my H in fear of what else I would tell people.

Try intellius. They usually list people associated with the name you search. Or www.spokeo.com. Or www.pipl.com
