Hi all,
Boy, am I struggling today. I have been on Plan B going on 4 weeks now. It is becoming very hard for me to not call my H and tell him that I still want another chance at our marriage and our family.
I want so badly for someone to come into his life and show him what he is giving up for this OW that he can't have. H and OW are continuing to lie and decieve and paly their games.

I cried this morning getting ready for work. I miss his presence in our house. I know that our daughter misses her daddy terribly. I want him to come home and work on our marriage.
I do not want the devil to destroy this marriage. My H has had 2 previous failed marriages and I don't want ours to be the 3rd. I seems so hopeless. The divorce has been filed. He seems very content to keep it going. I don't know how to fight this.
I want my marriage and my family whole again. I am praying always (seems like some days that is all I do) for God to show me the way. I know that God hates divorce and it is certainly not what I want.
How do I get past this? How do I know that my life will be ok? I look at my daughter and I just cry knowing that she may not grow up knowing what it really means to have a dad.
Oh, I am depressed today.
Cheryl

CeeCee- hang in there. We are all feeling your pain. Plan B is so hard when you don't/can't have any contact. I had a really bad day yesterday. Today, I am doing a little better. Don't know why. Just know that what you are feeling right now will pass. It takes two to make a marriage work. As much as we want ours to, if our H's aren't willing/able to put forth the effort necessary, then it won't happen. I know that it's really hard to accept this. Just remember that there are people out there who care about you. Reach out to people. They really do want to help you. I am truly amazed at the number of people I have come across who really care (many who were strangers prior to this happening).
Stay in contact. It helps when we all pull together.

Ceecee
Keep yourself busy and try and keep your mind off of the situation as much as possible. Also find a minister/pastor/priest or even a good friend or 3 to be able to talk to. These are the things that helped me the most.
Also keep praying and hand it all over to the Lord. There is nothing that YOU can do other than work on improving yourself.
Hang in there and God Bless!!

Ceecee-
I feel the pain in your heart. Your path is difficult and rough. Listening to how you really feel is part of the process. You continue to start each day with the hope that one little thing will give you the start to try and both rebuild. But, all choices as we all know have consequences. I'm not sure if you both have been in counseling together to understand the real issues each of you have in your marriage.
You can make it...look how strong you have been to get this far! One day at at is all you can focus on.
You will make it either way! After a 17 year marriage that included the last 8 living like total strangers, I betrayed. I felt the guilt and pain and was extremely confused. My wife demanded and immediate plan b that lasted for only 7 days. I received the papers and we embarked on one of the most painful times of my life. So as long as you can talk and communicate with each other...there is some hope. I know that it is diffucult but you have a lot of people on your side.
Hope and success to you on trying to find your way back. You are a good person and you will grow and move forward regaedless what happens.
mr rlk

Cheryl,
Here's a quote that, though not exactly inspirational, is definitely apropos of your (and all of our) situation:

quote:

"For each inch cut, the roots grow ten where we can't see them."

Your roots with your husband are very deep, and even though he's cutting the top inches, ain't no way he can get rid of all the roots!
I'm sorry you're feeling sad today. But I definitely do not think you should drop Plan B. Your husband just puts you through way too much pain when you talk to him. It's that whole button pushing thing he does!! I'm pretty sure that as depressed as you are today, you'd be even worse if you tried to talk to him. Stay strong!
--andy

Do I have a 6th sense? Or is it the Holy Spirit putting you on my mind? I sent you email earlier today, my friend.
{{{hugs}}}

ceecee,
I've been reading other threads and every one that you respond to is uplifting and shows people your heart. I'ts a good one, I hope your husband realizes that soon cause one day you will realize that you have so much to offer and he will have to come back begging and pleading for a second chance.
This is one of the worst times of your life, don't let anyone kid you but try to look way down the road.... no further than that..... keep going..... see it... happiness and peace. That's because you believe in yourself and God. No matter what happens to your marriage have peace, move out of the way so God can start working instead of you. Look at it like a full bag of junk that you push to the feet of Jesus and say to Him... "There you have it all Lord and rebuke me when I try to take it back" walk away and wait with expectation to see what God does. While you are waiting have peace....
I think of you often and will say a prayer for you.
Michael
