I had been cheating on my fiance and father of my child for several months before we got married when he found out. He was willing to forgive me and try to work things out. We got married this past September and recently he has suspected me of cheating again. I am not but he does not believe me. He says he cant trust me and cant learn to trust and wants a divorce. i love him with all my heart and dont want this to happen. Ive tried everything to get him to change his mind. He says this is best because he will never be able to trust me again. We have a 15 month old son together. What can i do to make him come around, to learn to trust me again, or is it really to late?

It's never too late.

"Plan A" him

Initiate "Radical Honesty"

Provide complete accountability of your time, on your own initiative.

Don't put yourself in "any" position or circumstance that could lead to presumption on his part.

Implement these things and you can at least say you've put forth your greatest effort.

trusting again is very difficult.

ususally the person who wants to be trusted does not understand that.

i needed for my husband to validate my feelings and find a way to make me beleive he wanted to earn my trust back...not just assume i should trust again since he said he was sorry that he hurt me.

read up..there is lots of good info on this site.

Thanks for the advice i feel liek it is too late. He moved out already and has filed for divorce. He is being so mean to me and continues to tell me how much he does not trust me nor can ever. he doesnt even want to try. i guess it is over and shoudl accept it although i surely dont want to.
thanks again
