I'm following (and enjoying) some blogs by some very wonderful MB-ers.
Are there any other MB-ers out there with a blog?
Do you mind if I take a look at it

If you follow a favorite blog, care to share it?

Truth ... I started a blog myself, then, 2 days later, I took it down.
I'm just not that interesting.
wink

Anyone know of any good book group blogs?

I think you're plenty interesting, Pepperband! You're just not narcissistic enough to blog about it. smile

Agree with Fred! I bet any blog you worked on would be plenty interesting, Pep smile

I follow a home & garden design kind of a blog. It's called the Polished Pebble. Very inspiring! I embraced my minimalist tendencies after finding it smile

Also I actually have a blog that I don't work on anymore, although it is still open...it is more of a scrapbook of the things that our family was doing. I wish I had kept up with it actually!

Ahh, often so very true re: the narcissism!

Note: I have a blog.*

See above vis a vis narcissism.

crazy

(*It is not that interesting, uber narrow in its selfish focus, and seems to have been left to shrivel up and die in its own little corner of cyberspace, as I have not blogged for a good few months.)

Pep, to answer your original question: I follow a handful of mommy blogs, one of which used to (not so much lately) post quality photos.

Amalah
The Redneck Mommy
Notes From the Trenches (photos here, or used to be more frequently)

All very poignant family stories, for the most part. Some clever writing, some snarky writing, some occasionally very serious writing about children with special needs, family health crises, etc.

Last point: Pep, I have thought before how I would enjoy reading a blog of yours!

I hope I don't have a blog because I'm narcissistic! I write mine so that family and friends can see what our family is doing. It's sort of a diary for me, and a place where I can state my opinions. If other people read it to, that's ok with me. There's alot about my crafts too. And sometimes I give stuff away. Or write funny stories. I follow about 40 craft blogs sporadically. Feel free to read mine!

I don't have a blog.
I think my attention span is too short.
I do have a YOU Tube Channel.

Pep, that's great! The Pan Am photos have the feel of bygone glamour, but perhaps that's just my assumptions overlaid on them.

How did you decide to become a stewardess? And then how did you decide to leave?

Or maybe that should be fodder for said video blog... confused

I have/had a blog, but I haven't written anything in it in over a year...maybe that means I'm not narcissitic? Actually, I didn't have time to write in MY blog because I was too busy reading everybody else's! I follow mostly crafting, sewing, and home decor blogs.

I'm a crafter/seamstress type of person, and I got into a funk where I wasn't doing anything much at all. However, I have gotten my crafting mojo back, so I might start posting in my blog again.

PB, I meant to tell you that I saw your video that you posted a while ago, but I wasn't sure if that was really you. That was so cool! I am going to put together my own Youtube channel as my videos on my daughter's channel got deleted for some reason...and I'll drop you a message on your page when I do so smile

Last May I started a blog to commemorate bipolar awareness month. it lasted longer than just may, but I don't post anymore.

I just started a blog to go along with NaNo.

People who know me in real life don't think I'm narcissistic. I can't speak for anyone else.

I have a youtube channel. I have trouble putting my thoughts down as it's hard to get them out.

I watch, and am as a sparrow alone upon the house top.

No, you're correct.
It was much more glamourous than travel is today.

Here is a link to an interview I did about that time.
Maybe your questions are answered * HERE *

The author of the article speaks English as a second language, so there are some funny little lost-in-translation bits. But, he did a really good job, I think.
He's asked to do a second interview, but I haven't been feeling up to it.
