I need some advice. I kept a secret for 9 years about having interaction with a coworker. I confessed to this 8 months ago, which was extremely difficult, but necessary. I did not have sex with this person but did share a couple of kisses and allowed him to touch me inappropriately. Which I did reveal to my husband. I actually felt like I was very honest afterwards...and for several months, until a fear struck me.
My concern now is that I fear my confession wasn't good enough. I worry that I may have told him I was only touched once when I was touched twice. I know it might seem strange that I can't remember, but the event of confession was brutal and I really can't remember EXACTLY every detail I said. I only now worry that I may have intentionally left out this detail. It may help you to know that I do suffer from a form of obsession and tend to worry ALOT. I just want to be perfect...I don't want to go back and drudge up details but I'm having trouble discerning what is right and wrong at this point.

Just ask him what he wants. Tell him you have remembered more details that do not change the overall story and will tell him if he is interested. Let him make the decision.

7777,
One thing I find funny is that you told your husband about physical contact, but was it really only physical or did you have a long emotional affair which lead to the physical contact. Often the emotional lead in can be much larger than the physical affair.
This almost sounds the exact opposite to my wifes admission where she claims there was no physical contact, but the emotional affair was long and intense.
I say admission only in the sense that I had to read between the lines and tell her what happened to which she said nothing. My wife also has an impossible time admitting to fault, and expects perfection from herself.
How did your H handle the news?
God Bless Gamma
