A friend strongly suspects his W is having an affair. He wants to get copies of text messages, what kinds of programs are out there to do this? I am not familiar with this at all.

I know they have AT&T, I don't know what kind of phone yet. I will post that when I find out.

Thanks, friends!

For the most part, with AT&T, for access to the messages themselves you will need to possess the actual phone. If he wants copies, when he has a hold of the phone and is snooping, he should forward them to his own phone.

Otherwise, you can get a record of all texts sent and received by phone number from the account page online. Just seeing a large number of texts may help.

In my case, I used the "Phonebook" feature to put names to the numbers.

flexispy -- but you have to have possession of the phone at least temporarily to install it.
You will need to know what type of phone to see if it is compatible...

He's already seen large amounts of texts and phone calls so it's an EA/Emotional Affair at the very least. I don't believe he feels comfortable accusing her of an A sheerly with this info.

He wants copies of the texts if possible. I believe there are programs available for certain phones that can be installed on the phone so that the TMs are sent to an email addy or something?

If he has Sprint & is the account holder, I believe he can call and ask for a form to fill out...once he signs and faxes it back, they will give him the last 10 texts. He might have to "escalate" the call to get this info...

I don't know if any of the other carriers will do this. HTH!

He has AT&T and I've sent him the link to this thread, hopefully he reads it ~ he can always call AT&T and see what they say.

Lucky to be where I am, in a safe place to get marriage-related support.
Recovered.
Happy.
