I just read from a local e-paper that in 12 days a new portal for affairs will be launched in Europe. They say that they will be the 1st Scandinavian dating site for partners and married couples. Their slogan is relive passion, find your affair. And now it is open for preregistration! Norweigan public has reacted with severe criticism, and the portal had their answer - we don't propagate affairs, we just help people who feel trapped in their relationships...

How on earth this can happen... Is there something we could do about it? Unbelievable.

Unfortunately you can't legislate this type of morality. "Thou shalt not murder" is a moral code everyone can pretty much agree on but unfortunately some people think that stuff like this is ok (Ashley Madison, this new site, etc). Free society is... free society I guess. Certainly doesn't stop me from not giving my business to sites and companies that advertise for these people. Other than that, not sure what else can be done.

We wrote a letter to the local centers of marriage therapists', plus to the institution that trains them, and referred to the need of their voice against such choices and initiatives in the media. We also wrote that instead of being just the reactionary force and backstage actors in relationships and forums, they need to be on the picture more often to encourage people to take proper care of their primary relationships and teach them how to do it on regular basis. I'm very glad that they responded to us, thanked us, and an article against this affair site, plus affairs and such choices in general was written by the chairlady of local association of family therapy and published in the local paper today. I'm glad and I feel better:-)
