He says that it is over because he has tried to talk with me for years and I did not respond. I still love him and he says he loves me but is choosing to have an affair and to love someone else because I threw him away. I never thought I was throwing him away but honestly I understand how he feels this way. I love him and believe that we can save and make a new marriage. What do i do next?

Ask the mods to move your topic over to Surviving an Affair portion of the forum or just repost over there. The folks there will help you end your husband's affair and save your marriage if that's what you want. Sorry you came here for this but... welcome, you're at the right place!
