Since I am posting illiterate, and others may be as well...

How can I pull a quote out of someones reply and put it in the little box thingy on my reply?

Can't seem to figure it out.

Easiest way is to hit "quote" at the bottom of the post you're quoting.

Other than that, you can copy and paste the section you wish to quote, then wrap it with [ quote ] at the beginning, and [ / quote ] at the end (spaces removed), but that won't put in the poster's name.

I guess: Highlight quote you want to use THEN hit "quote"?

I see what you're doing. Type your response OUTSIDE the quote box (before or after the [ quote ] thingies at each end).

And yes, just delete the words you don't want within the quote box.
