Hi everyone. Started this thread because I had read an old post the other day and I thought I might be helpful to some on the boards NOW.
However, I thought I had saved the page I found it on and connot seem to locate it all.
The post was about WHY WS take the OP to places that WS & BS would frequent. THe post went on to acknowledge that it is because the WS is trying to turn OP into YOU! And how the OP can never be you but a counterfiet of you and much more.
It was very insightful.
I have tried searches, but to no luck. I was reading on Dueinjan's thread & posts and there was some MIMI thrown in there also.
If anyone can help find it and post it, that would be great! I will continue looking also.

I was trying took for this, as my WH took OW to special places we use to go.
I heard a couple of theories on this.
1. They are trying to turn the other person into you!
2. That they are trying to turn previous happy places/memories into a negative thoughts.
I have tried to find info on this, in Mimi's thread "My Gift to you please Listen" that I recently bumped has some stuff in there from Lupolady about it. There is also some talk about when you look at info about Prodigal Son.
It is strange though. I use to think that Wh did just not use their imagniations very well when taking out OW, and just took them to the same places but there is definetly some significance there.

Feb 2009 - Affair starts, physical for 9 days on business trip.
Mar 2009 - Separate from H, live alone
Apr 2009 - realise I have made big mistake and attempt reconciliation with H, establish NC with OM.
Jun 2009 - H physical and emotional serial A start right upto present day.
Jul 2009 - NC with OM broken and becomes EA
Mar 2010 - H reads email and discovers A
Jul 2010 - Discover MB
Aug 2010 - Plan A starts
Oct 2010 - Plan B starts

Is it the thread that says that they do it because they are into themselves and feel entitled to share their own special places and things with OP? That they are clueless about the uncool, cruel aspects of it?
That answer settles with me, resonates with me since my WH has shared my hometown, special shows/movies, accountants I found for US, mortgage brokers I discovered and became friends with for US, ethnic food that was special to US, you name it with his OP.
LOL.
Sometimes I just have to lol at the oblivious seeming actions of the whole deal.
