Every time I come to this forum I am amzed at the number of new posters whether they are the betrayer or the betrayed. Then I look at the Recovery forum and there are very few new posters. My prayer for 2011 is that this trend reverses and more new posters post to the recovery thread. In Chist's name I pray this.

My prayer for 2011 is that this trend reverses and more new posters post to the recovery thread. In Chist's name I pray this. L4S, most of the recovered marriages here post on SAA in order to help others. We have seen a tremendous upward trend in recovered marriages on this forum in the past year. I have been here almost 10 years and have never posted with any regularity on InRecovery. So please don't be concerned if you don't see much traffic on IR, because so many marriages have been saved here! They are just over here on this board. My prayer is that we continue this trend and that many more marriages are saved! Or that divorce occurs if appropriate, because sometimes the definition of success is divorce.

Army, I'll jump over. Thanks
Mel, I understand but it seems that there are more new stories of betrayel than there are new stories of recovery. It's great to here the trend for the recovery forum is on an upswing and God knows you and several of the other vets here have had a significant impact on that trend. God bless.

Mel, I understand but it seems that there are more new stories of betrayel than there are new stories of recovery. And of course that will always be the case. There is only so much a person can do when their spouse is having an affair and refuses to end it. A wayward spouse can be influenced, but not forced to commit to a marriage. MB has no control over that. When a spouse won't end his affair, there are no good options. Sometimes divorce is the measure of success. I have seen a definite uptick of recovered marriages, which gives me great hope.

SAA is the "trauma center," it's always going to be busy, bustling, and bloody. The people there are actively injured and crying out in pain. It's loud and filled with the insanity of pain.
IR - IR is the "followup appointment." The condition has been treated with triage, the wounds dressed, and the people there are addressing issues they see with their healing. The more complicated the injury or illness, the more often the "patient" will show up, and will vocalize more of their issues.
