Just found out recently (but sworn to silence until now) that I'm gonna be a grandma again for the 6th time. I'm so excited. This is my youngest son and his wife who have no children yet. They've been married about three years. He's just about to leave the Army and recently graduated from nursing school. I'm so proud of them.

They told me tonight I could tell people (just not on FB) so I'm here where I have many good friends to share this with.

(P.S. Thank you for letting me brag.)

Thanks TC, my husband says his quiver is getting fuller. Grandkids are the best!

That's wonderful, meggy! When is the little one due?

There is nothing nicer than a new baby in the family.

Thanks! Not sure about the due date. They go for their 1st prenatal the 1st week of march and for a soon. I'm sure they'll get a definite due date then.

yeehaw! Congratulations! That is great news indeed. Isn't it a great feeling when your kids are gainfully employed and headed in the right direction? I know it gives me great personal satisfaction knowing my son is thriving in his career and marriage.

Yup it is. I look back at where we were as a family back in 2003 and I'm amazed at how we've healed. When we began recovery our 1st grandchild was born. She was the catalyst that allowed us to begin healing as a family. With each new grandchild our family grows a little more. I can't imagine where we would be as a family now had we given up on our marriage back then.

I just spit out my powerade. If they've only been married 3 years, they probably still do it too much to keep up with it....ha! I knew PM would appreciate THAT thought. My dad is a sweet man, but the first time he saw us after finding out I was pregnant, he guy DH the stink eye smile

Congratulations!

When I was pregnant with my first, several times when people congratulated my H he would say "thank you" and then mutter "I just wish I could remember when it happened..."

This was from the man who used to pinch my mom's butt and say things about being sure the door was locked when they would go to bed "early."

Actually, I know when DD was conceived. I could just tell. We were on an anniversary trip at a hotel with an in room Jacuzzi. We love to call her "the hot tub baby" just to watch her look horrified.

Lol! I knew exactly when my oldest son was conceived. It was at my MIL's house four weeks after my first was born (I know!) while we were visiting to introduce her to our daughter. Then he was born a month and 1/2 early so he and my oldest daughter are exactly nine months apart. She wasn't even walking yet when he was born.

As far as the due date? They decided that they would start "trying" on January 1, 2011. It worked. I told my DIL she's in for a lonnnnnnggg pregnancy since it seems she found out almost immediately.

I know when my daughter was conceived. It was the night the plumber came to fit the new bathroom.

I don't think it actually had anything to do with the plumber, you understand...
