I understand about exposing wayward H of his adulteries....However, is there such a thing of telling your teens too much? And...how will that impact them? The reasons why i ask, is first of all, my teens knew before I did that my H was cheating on me....they insisted that i tell them what's going on because they don't want the rug pulled out from underneath them like all of a sudden, we divorce...I did tell them some, but not in any details, though...about our progress/regression about our marriage.... Well...my teens have acted out by experimenting in destructive behavior..... As a teenager, I acted out because of my fathers corrupt behavior in the absence of any moral training by my mother. Of course a corrupt parent is bound to have some influence on children, but that influence can be greatly curtailed if the sane parent takes a strong stance and is firm in her moral guidance. Waywards teach children that anything is permissable to seek personal "happiness." In the absence of moral training, the WS will give the child immoral training. It is lies and adultery that poison children, not the truth.
