Did anyone listen to the MB Radio show yesterday? I can not get it to run on my computer this morning (normally it runs), but I heard Dr. Harley provided his opinion on lie detector tests. Can anyone tell me what was said on the show? Thank you.

My little summary:

He said that if he were going into a new biz.....it might be lie detector related. That the current ones are not infalible and then explained how they work on the memory/uh creative? types of reactions to questions. Not sure how he put that.
He mentioned new ones coming in the near future that would be more accurate due to being created on a different detection principle. Again, not clear on what he actually said.

He did say that forum members recommend using them and he is behind that recommendation even with the flaws in current ones. He said why but I was doing something else while listening and....don't recall the details.

Dr H discussed it on this clip: here

He does advocate them. Another great benefit of polygraphs is called the "utilitarian effect" which means that most people confess BEFORE the polygraph because they are scared to flunk it.

Becuase of that, we suggest making an appointment and then informing the WS 48 hours beforehand by handing them a list of questions. Tell the WS he has one last chance to come clean before the test. They usually sing like a canary!!
