I have been praying and standing for my marriage for about 19 months. WH did come back for about 9 1/2 months and left again and is still seeing the OW. Please pray that his relationship ends soon and that he sees the light and comes home. I pray for his soul and the OW soul as well everyday. I not only want him to come home but I want him saved as well. Please pray for us and pray for me to continue to have the strength to continue on.

D-Day#1 discovered cell phone calls 6/30/2009
D-Day#2 7/26/2009

WH left 7/25/2009/WH moved in with OW 7/29/2009
Trying to reconcile 12/30/2009/left 10/22/2010
2nd OW 8/2011? and living in Idaho.

Father I pray for wisdom. Father I pray you would intervene and bring about the reconciliation that needs to take place. Father I pray for this husband and woman who have taken away from a family. I pray Your spirit would come upon him, convict him, show him the error of his ways, and let him see Your grace, mercy and love. Lord we cannot change another, but You can. Thank you Father for listening to the prayers spoken on behalf of this family and we pray you continue to work in their lives.

Thank you, AskMe. I really appreciate that prayer. I pray everyday for my H and for all the prodigals to return home to those who are standing for them. God Bless you and all those who pray for for spouses to return. May God open the eyes and hearts of all the prodigals out there so that they may see the truth and return home to those who are faithfully waiting.

I will pray for all, I also ask for prayers for my family, 3 teenagers, my wife addictions, affair etc., going through a extremely tough time, divorce pending etc. Thank you and God bless us all!

Sorry for the struggles you are facing Tony. Father I pray for Tony, his wife and his children. Lord I prayer your wisdom would be upon each. Lord I ask grace and mercy for the children that you would give them peace and hope through what seems like a pending divorce. Lord divorce is not something you desire, but it happens Lord and you understand and you lend yourself to those going through the trial. Lord I pray for this family, I pray that you would convict the wife of her addictions and give her help. Lord we thank you doe listening to all the prayers and ministering to us.

I cried out to God for a word of support and since I m trying to read the Bible through again this year and it is mid month I used a crazy scheme to find something to read. Anyway, it led me to Nehemiah 2. I love the way the Israelite stood in the gap of the wall with the sword in one hand to defend their family and home while they worked to rebuild the weak places in the wall. The end of chapter two gives the answer to the evil forces that want to tear down the protection for the home. God is on the side of the righteous and we will not give up the cause or give up ground.

Phoenix, I am in the same situation but it has only been since Dec. I am standing by my marriage. I have asked for prayers also. I'll pray for you too! Debbie, that's exactly the way we feel, isn't it Phoenix? I will defend it and try to rebuild it. And never faulter. This has been a great help to me, thank you! God Bless, Phoenix!

Phoenix, I am in a similar position as you. I just prayed for you and I hope you and all the others do the same for me. I am fighting and not giving up on my wayward wife and children of two.

In church there was a great bible verse I'd like to share with everyone who will listen.
Jeremiah 29:11-14- for I know the plans I have for you declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. 12 then you will call upon meand come pray to me and I will listen to you. 13 you will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart. 14 I bill be found by you declares the Lord and will bring you back from captivity.

These verses from Jeremiah are a great reminder of God's love for us. Often we think proper in terms of money, but God wants our lives to proper in such a way that we grown strong in faith and love for Him.
