Hello,

I don't think I ever posted on this 'Other' forum before, but I am just reflecting some now. Memorial Day weekend now and even tho weather forecasters promised no rain by damn it's raining now again. Interrupts my plan for getting a few garden plants in...*s*

Normally I try to have my wife here as often as I can (she is in a nursing home) but didn't work out for this weekend. Have plenty to do but realized I am feeling sort of lonely at this time.

What I wanted to related is that I just got the mail and received the renewal of bank credit and debit cards with a bright green paper with bold lettering that your cards expire xx/11. Then, please activate your new cards.

They will expire in 2014. The thought struck me that man that will be after I cross over age 70! The Lord willing then, maybe I will be able to renew them again...*s* That was just a sobering thought is all.

Tom

Good for you to check in, Tom. Well, I've been getting insistent letters from AARP, telling me to activate my 'free' AAA membership. What??? I'm not a member of AARP!! But they send them anyway, sigh. We're not getting any younger, are we. smile
