Why did Dr. Harley say
"If you tell Kim that you are unhappy you want a divorce, then leave and start a relationship, then that is a different situation?"
What did he mean? Don't most waywards do that? They try to pretend they divorce and/or separate to make the adultery legit?

He said that if a spouse is not happy in a marriage and can not work with the other spouse to fix the unhappiness.....it is more honorable to tell them you are divorcing due to unhappiness and then later moving on with someone else as a mate.
He did not imply that a wayward should ditch a marriage.

I did not recognize the details of the story. "Eddie" is one of the foggiest people I have ever heard in person. He dismissed logic and operated by emotion only. His big concern now is how to get his wife out of the house and save himself financially. He is totally convinced that he and OW will have a wonderful relationship for ever. Dr. Harley needs alot more time with this guy. The BS is supposed to be on tomorrow's show.

reading is right. The point he was making is that if a marriage is so unhappy you want a divorce, you should leave and get a divorce rather than have an affair. Then move on with someone else later.

I really appreciated hearing Eddie. He was so textbook (if you are reading, that is not an insult!).
Dr. Harley is such a sharp guy. He really understands the mechanisms of love and marriage and infidelity. Wow.

I wish dr. harley would ask my husband for logical reasons to be with the other woman, because I am way better than her.... and ask why she isnt taken ... he's not going to have a throng of guys fighting for that woman, that's for sure
