Yes, I'm whining again.
I just dropped off D at H apt. He apprears to be so damn happy. New clothes. New furniture. New rugs. Isn't giving me any money (4 wks now), but he can go an buy whatever the H@LL he wants to.
Yes, I'm still bitter. I know I need to get past this, but I don't know how to.
I honestly don't think he has a conscience. He isn't remorseful. He hasn't taken any of the blame for this. He isn't being responsible. He looks happy as a clam.
What is the deal? I think he likes the fact that I am Plan B-ing. He likes it that I don't talk to him. I don't see how he can do this. I really can't.
So, I guess my real question is, do some people who do wrong, just get so jaded that their thought process no longer knows that difference between right and wrong? Is it possible for some people to lose all sense of goodness?
Cheryl

Some people don't have a conscience to begin with.
Get yourself an attorney and have his wages garnished for child support. You've got to provide for your daughter and he has a responsibility for that. Reality itself can sometimes be the biggest lovebuster of all.
------------------
Bobbie

Hey guys, when they're in that fantasy world there is no such thing as a conscience. That is the requirement for living there. You have to check your conscience, your morals, your faith, your guilty at the door before you can enter. And you can't get them back until you leave. Now how are they ever going to leave if they don't have those things to make them realize that they are wrong. I guess that is why we stick around trying to remind them. Definitely Friday Night in the big town!!!!!
------------------
di

Hi Sheba-
You and I seem to stay in the same boat. I declare!
You sound pretty good tonight, in spite of everything.
I just wish I could knock so sense into him. I went to his apt. tonihgt. I think, Why is his living HERE (smells-ya know) when he could be LIVING where he is suppose to be with a wife and daughter who miss him and love him.
Whatever he is doing, I hope it doesn't last long.
God will make sure it gets better. It's what I pray for everyday.
SDS-
You're right. If they had any sense of anything, they couldn't do what they are doing. How's your Plan B going, btw?
Cheryl

Hey Ladies,
Don't forget us men who's W's pulled this [censored] on them, too.I don't believe my W had a real emotional or moralistic conscience to begin with.Maybe this is why it's so easy for her to do this. She hurt everyone who loved her, devastated my family, and annihilated her husband, and all she can say is"I didn't mean to hurt anyone." I guess I remember seeing a lot of red flags in our marriage leading up to this.Has anyone else remembered incidents of disrespect,or lying,or indifference towards you? Cheryl, yes,I think some people can lose their sense of goodness, because I've seen it happen, and not just with my W.I guess I just get sooo damn mad that she has a young boy-toy who treats her like a queen.Of course he is,he's getting what he wants! And I could of done the same thing to her.GRRRR!Now I'm venting.Happy Halloween all-Maybe the OM's and OW's will all turn into pumpkins! --Murph

It has become what he does. I continue to pray for him, but I worry that his heart is too hardened.
Hey, anybody got wine? Let's toast to ourselves. "Happy venting"
cheryl

Cee Cee,
I was the betrayer in my first marriage and not being proud of it but acknowledging it as the truth. I was also happy as a clam with the OW... for a little...nine months to be exact. Because of the lies that we had woven... our relationship was also destined to fall...and it did.
It appears to me that we are dependent upon our feelings of the heart, that the brain never engages, in relationships. We are so easily fooled into thinking "this is love".
We don't take into account the feelings of others. We are in a dream world. Affairs are truly selfish actions that will one day crumble. Love is a VERY STRONG EMOTION. It will take us places we don't want to be.
Well rambled on enough.
Wishing us all the Best.
Medic
