Wondering if anyone that has been through this (on either side) can share 'indications' that the affair has gone 'underground'.
What methods can be used to 'hide' if the WS knows that his phone is checked randomly and so is his PC?

What makes you think he's on to your spying tools? The answer to your question is simple, cith: a prepaid phone. Is your WH aware of this site? Does he have access to your computer?

I made the mistake of 'asking' to see his pc and phone early on after D Day - but it was too late - he had already deleted almost everything and the next day he made sure it was ALL gone and since then there is no sign of communication that I can see/find.
A prepaid phone is possible because it can be hidden anywhere... not to say I haven't looked - just haven't found anything yet.

You'll need to use a VAR in various places to try to catch him using a prepaid phone. Try putting a VAR in his car or in the garage...or any other place you think he may try to talk to her secretly. I got so desperate once that I put a VAR in my Hs briefcase to see if he was using a prepaid phone at work. He found it though, so I wouldn't suggest doing that. LOL!!

Well, one thing I do know that can be hidden very well are apps that can be downloaded on smartphones (iPhone especially, since I have one & have tried this).
There are several apps that your spouses can download that will allow them to text whomever they wish, and it will not show up on your bill. To make matters worse, you can only see these secret messages if the app is currently installed on the phone. The app that my WH used is called textnow and I know for certain this is an underground tool.

The textnow app will give you a phone number where you can text or call secretly. Most WS would probably text only, since you have to pay in order to call.
