I so don't know what to do. My husband and I have been married for 16 years and recently discovered that the personals and casual encounters were being viewed on his laptop. I asked him about them and he said that I was the only one and that he had been hacked. Why would someone hack into his computer to look at Craigslist? I've asked several computer savy friends if this can be done and they have asked the same question. After he was asked about this, he has all of a sudden become lovie dubbie again. This hasn't been the case in the past few months. We went on vacation and he would jump at the chance to bite my head off. Before this was discovered, everytime I came into the room he would suddenly exit out of whatever he was viewing. He has been visiting sites on how to deal with pornography and whether or not to tell his spouse about his sexual addiction. I want to give him the benefit of the doubt but it's hard to believe it in my heart. If he was viewing the ads then he is lying to me which breaks my trust. I'm just really at a loss on what I should do next.

I'm sorry you've had to find your way here, SoLost, but you've come to the right place. The first thing I would suggest you do is get a keylogger on his computer asap. www.spectorpro.com Get the eblaster. It installs in just a few minutes and will email reports to you about his activity on the computer. It is invaluable. His snappishness with you is a hallmark of a wayward. Especially when he backs it up with being sweet after he thinks you're on to him. He's trying to distract you. Does he spend time away from the house? Is he ever gone overnight?

Agree with MaritalBliss. Slap a keylogger on his computer and see what he is doing. THEN confront him.

I'll definately get the eblaster. He's never gone overnight but is gone a few nights a week to karate.
The lovie dubbies are starting to be less again. When I asked him about craigslist he downloaded a program called K9 Protection but I've fixed it where it allows things but will monitor computer use. It doesn't compare to what eblaster says it will do.

I'll definately get the eblaster. He's never gone overnight but is gone a few nights a week to karate.I would also slap a GPS on his car. Can you afford to hire a PI to tail him for a "karate" night to see where he goes?

He drives my car most of the time to go to karate. I can't afford to hire a PI. I'll have to figure something else out.

Put a GPS-Device in his car ASAP. If you do not have one yet, try putting your cell phone in the car (in silent mode of course) and track it via the internet.

My phone doesn't have GPS on it. If it did, I would be putting it in the car tonight. I think my best bet right now is to do the key logger. I can almost guarantee that will turn up something.

If you have access to the computer all the time....I like spectorsoft pro better....gives you screenshots and key logger you know what programs are used...it is much more efficient...I also have eblaster so i can monitor from work....that one sends to email which is nice if you dont have access to computer all the time...just my 2 cents

I'll probably go with eblaster because I don't have access to his laptop all the time. Is there a free download of eblaster? If so then I guess I just missed it on the website.

It's not free, SoLost, but it's worth every penny.
NOTE: Set up a free email account before you order it. SpectorPro will need an email address for sending order information and reports. You don't want the those to go to an email account he might know about and be able to access.

Had an email in our box last night from a dating website asking to join. Never have gotten one of these before. Wonder what sites have been visited now. Got to wait on some money to come in before I can get the keylogger program. Can't wait! Supposedly he blocked the sender from sending more of the emails. We will see!

If you go read up on keyloggers on the operation investigate forum, I think you will find a free keylogger you can install on his computer.

I thought about sending an email to the dating site and ask how they got our email address. Don't really know if I would get any info by doing this or not. I can't download anything until atleast Tuesday because he is home this weekend and I can't get his laptop long enough without him knowing it. When I woke up this morning he was already on his computer. He always rolls where his back is to me when he does this. If he is doing anything, he will get busted. I just need peace of mind at this point so I can know what decisions I need to make or if him getting busted on craigslist was all it took to stop it. We'll see!

Well what do you know, the email from the dating site is gone. Getting anxious on what will be found on the keylogger. He's deleted all browser history on his computer except for today.

Eblaster will be put on the computer Tuesday. I wonder what it will find. Back to the same routine. Lovie dubbies are almost nonexistant and leaves for karate an hour before it starts. It only takes about 20 min. to get there. He says that his body has to get acclamated to the heat in the dojo but it hasn't been very hot lately. I said something about it not taking long for his body to adjust last night and he almost ran out of the house. I have a gut feeling that he's viewing things in the in private browsing now or on his cell phone. There will be perfect opportunities for him to browse whatever next week. There are several nights that I have meetings. The eblaster will log everything even if done in the In Private browsing correct? Thanks for all your help and posts. I appreciate it. | | | Moderated by  Ariel , BerlinMB , Denali , Fordude , IrishGreen , MBeliever , MBsurvivor , MBSync , McLovin , Mizar , PhoenixMB , Toujours
