I know that you Americans believe that Thanksgiving is in November, but you're wrong. It's this weekend.

So to all of the crazy(and not so crazy) canucks out there, HAPPY THANKSGIVING.

You mean to tell me that Canadians celebrate being independent from the British? Are you kidding me? I thought you were our friends!

It's bad enough that I have to sit through one whoop-[censored] day in July. Now I discover that I have to sit and watch another one! grumble

Actually, we do celebrate an independence day Sug, but it's in July too. It's July 1st. We call it "Canada Day." This is a day we celebrate the harvest. That's probably why we have it in October, it's snowing here in November.

The actual holiday is Monday, but some of us do the family dinner thing on Sunday, which the Scotty-clan will be doing at mom and dad's house. MMmmmmmmm Turkey, stuffing and fresh cranberry sauce, oh yeah, and PUMPKIN PIE. Yum-o. It's also my sister's bday, so lots of cake too.
