Thought many on here would find some justice and humor in this story:

Tatt-poo for cheating

That story is very unlikely to be true. He got her to sign a waiver saying he could do anything he liked, before he did it? Really?

Oh, good grief, it's from The Sun.

Nobody believes The Sun in this country. There is a Parliamentary Committee being held right at this moment, questioning the conduct of journalists working for the British newspapers owned by Rupert Murdoch's News International. He has had to close down one of his papers this year because of its disgraceful standards of journalism.

The American source I read, earlier today, at least prefaced the story by saying "wouldn't it be nice if this were true - but it's unlikely".

Just how drunk would she have to be to sleep through the immense pain such a large tattoo would cause? And what a coincidence that he manage to get her what we in Britain call "blotto", while he stayed sober enough to do such a work of art, as well as getting her to sign such an unlikely waiver.

Just in case it's unclear; I don't believe this story! It's a publicity stunt!

Shhhhhhhhh!

Careful now, 'ol Ruperts major news networks are highly beloved here in the states for their "Fair and Balanced" reporting!

Well, that could be justified - I don't know. Broadcast news is a different animal from print, and over here we have a tabloid/popular newspaper culture that is not much respected in the rest of Europe. We readers, of course, are to blame for that.

I think Sky News is reasonably well respected over here, and so is Murdoch's Times newspaper, but The Sun and the now defunct News of the World...

Oh dear.

Scandal and controversy sell. Anger sells.

And you are right, we are to blame for buying.
