My wife of 17 years in in emotional affair and wants divorce. We have 7 year old daughter. If she files for divorce, who will get the custody?
I am non-abusive, non-alcoholic, husband taking care of all financial and other matters for the household and contributing 50% (if not more) in all household activities (cooking, cleaning, child rearing, going to school to read stories, taking my daughter for doctor's and dentist' visits, spending time wiht her in all extracurricular activities, taking her for a walk). What are my chances of getting sole custody?

What are my chances of getting sole custody? It depends on a lot of factors, but the biggest one is what is common in your area. It's time for you to see a lawyer just so that you can know what your rights are and what the possible outcomes may be. You write as though English is not your first language. Are you in the US?

In your other post you mentioned that she thought she was going to take your daughter and move 2000 miles away to be with OM. Does she still think this?

What state do you live in? That can make a big difference?
Does your wife work or has she been a stay-at-home mom?
Does your wife still live with you? Does your daughter?
All of these things can make a difference. Most states now try to have 50/50 custody or as close to it as possible. Your daughter needs both of her parents. The worse thing that could happen for her is a huge custody battle where she is caught in the middle.
In your other thread you mention your wife might move 2000 miles away. You can stop that from happening and should. Just because you wife now says she will not do it, does not mean its not still on the back burner.
If I were you Id see an attorney and get something filed so that she is aware that you have some rights as well. The court order would be that she cannot take your daughter out of state or move her out of the family home without your permission. Do you have anything written by your wife stating her intentions to move? Maybe an email, a letter? If you do take that to the attorney.
