I recently retired from the military in June because of injuries and the day of my retirement ceremony my wife tells me she has stopped loving me. She started a new job that month and the next month I had surgery. I suffer with major depression some ptsd and anxiety and self admitted into a mental hospital to get better. The day I did she moved in with her boyfriend. Yes all the signs were there prior and yes she denied all. The day I was released she told me to leave and I did. i was readmitted 3 days later and a few days after our 13th anniversary she cheated on me. She laid out the whole sob story of she never meant to and it was wrong until I pulled out all the letters and phone records to confront her. The attitude changed immediately and she asked for divorce. 2 days later I filed and now we are going through the motions. i found out while I was inpatient she was taking the kids to his house and to dinner moving him into my place in the family. She now has an apartment that he shares with her half time because he has a restraining order against my kids. I so cant wait for this to be over. Please throw in some comments or suggestions I just need to clear my mind with some good discussion.

Focuz,

I am sorry for the reason you are here. This site has the best information and plans for busting up an affair and recovering a marriage. Are you interested in that? Definitely move this thread to the SAA forum.

Is the other man in the military?

no armymama he is an ex marine. i was interested in healing the marriage but considering she has an apartment and he moved in immediately the marriage is gone to the point of no return. All i can do is move on. If the other guy was military I know what I could do to fix the problem.

Focuz,

I don't think the marriage is necessarily past the point of no return, if you want to bust up the affair and recover the marriage. Do you want to try or divorce?

I wouldnt take your cues on whether it is over from her. Affairs can be busted up.

Is it over for you?
