I'm reading a book for work - Crucial Conversations and the book seems to play into POJA and teaches tactics for reaching POJA. Wondered if anyone else had gone through their program?

The books talk about keeping the conversation safe. About negotiating goals that are mutually satisfying to both parties, they go more into detail of how to negotiate and tactics for using shared purposes and shared goals to reach a decision everyone is happy with.

The books are certainly geared more towards the workplace, but it's given me more tools to use at home in my marriage than I had before. I haven't read the sequel geared more for managers and supervisors, but will be reading it next week.

They have that program and books at my job also.

My WH had to do it and so I did it with him. I loved it because it does walk hand and hand with POJA.

WH was "enlightened".
