MM,
I've been reading your threads from the past and I'm up to the thread "MM update: She gets it". I had to stop reading because I'm at work and began to get emotional. I pray that I will have the same outcome as you have. It's only been a few months that I've been enduring this situation, but I can see the light at the end of the tunnel and I can only hope to have the same end result as you. I hate that my situation closely resembles yours because of the time it took your wife to come back. The good news is that you never gave up and eventually got what you wanted. I hope I can hang in there as long as you did. Thanks for the inspiration.

No matter what happens, you will be a success if you go through this. Please know this!

But, being in the position I was, I was able to make things right. It is the way all of our society should be.

I'll tell you, I wish I had known you 3.5 years ago. My wife was having an A with a Marine, and i did eventually expose, but it wasn't easy. his command made it hard. I actually threatened to put up a billboard if they didn't discipline him. It would've read:

"does the USMC know justice? OM doesn't... This Marine has been sleeping with my wife"

Seriously. Thankfully they gave him brig time and i didn't have to spend the money, but they sure made it hard on me.

Sorry to hear that! But hey...they finally did the right thing, right?

Sometimes, it takes a little shove to get people to do the right thing.

Oh, and I like the billboard idea!

I will soon. We are closing on a house at the end of the month...so we are frazzled, as you can possibly imagine!

They did. Took me a while to talk to another Marine. Every time I saw one I wanted to hurt them (and I was one!). I wish I could take credit for the billboard idea. Where I did grad school there was this huge highway that everyone drove to get downtown. I saw some guy out there with a sandwich board on that said "Sarah, I am sorry. I will Never be an adulterer again" or something similar to it. Dude was out there for 2 weeks I think. Every day at rush hour. Talk about just compensation!
