It would be interesting to go back in a year and reverse the genders. Wife has brain injury, husband meets old "friend" at class reunion who is getting divorced.
Wife tells him he should marry her...
Not only is the story a sick story, but I guarantee if you were to reverse the genders, the folks who are saying it's such a romantic tale would sing a different tune if it were a guy divorcing his brain damaged wife for the high school "friend."
