That's one I got from an earlier graduate from my University.
My oldest aunt is a lifelong...
... NAC.
It's even less thankless than being a licensed nurse. But, she has been doing it for over 40 years. She was part of the commission that put into effect that one had to be an NAC to do NAC work in the nursing homes in our state. Previously, it wasn't so. We are an agricultural area, and in the off seasons the seasonal workers would flood the nursing homes for work, and all quit when the ag work picked up again... leaving nursing homes crippled. She's involved.
And this woman, lifelong NAC, has no qualms about putting Doctors in their place;
"Look, so-and-so, I remember when you came through here as a student, and not a physician. You don't get to walk on me."
Working in elder care... I get a different take...
"Doctor!"
"Ma'am, I am not a Doctor, I am a nurse... how can I help you?"

Haven't you found that you learn more about MB process while trying to explain it to someone else? I sure have.
Yes.
I've also learned that I cannot spread myself too thin, or I cannot put the breaks on the heart-head-mouth (fingers) thing.
So, I limit myself to a few posters, and I will no longer deal with rock-headed BS's or Fogged-out waywards.
It's like encountering a new disease process or wound, and you go and try to figure out the best thing to apply. Sometimes it's a silvadene dressing, some times it's a collagen pad.
