I don�t know what to do. I love my husband with all my heart but I feel he is purposely trying to push me away. Over the past few weeks he has become extremely nasty toward me. Every day that he is here he makes sure to put me down and make me feel as low as possible. I know that he is having a hard time with his new bosses but I�ve turned into his emotional punching bag. Today was the worst though. He plugged his phone in last night to charge but must not have plugged it in all the way. The ensuing rampage was bad. He told me how I'm worthless that I should have made sure that it was in right. Also that next time maybe that I would learn to check it or suffer the consequences again. He also told me how he wishes me dead, that I'm completely useless, that I�m lazy, I�ll never amount to anything, I will never hold a job if I got one, that he�s going to screw around on me, that he already has, that I�m fat and nasty, and that�s just what I can remember. He also told me that I�m to get out. He of course said all this around not only our kids but his kid to. Now I�m worried that he�s going to go home and say something to his mom. This isn't the first time he has done this and I know it won't be the last.This is just a small taste of what I�ve gone through. I've been there supporting him through everything but he treats me like everything that happens is my fault. I clean the house, I take care of the kids and pets, I fix anything that breaks in the house, I handle all the bills and appointments, I do everything in the home. I am expected to have sex with him every night. If I'm on my monthly i have to give him a blow job every night till I'm off of it. I have to get his clothes for him in the morning and start the car. I can't talk to anyone from my family without dealing with him being nasty. I can't even go see them but maybe 2 or 3 times a year and hes nasty every time that I go. I always have to go when hes at work and be home in time to pick him up from work which usually only gives me 2 or 3 hours to be at their house. And with all this he can come and go as he pleases and goes to his dads on almost a daily basis. I just don't know what to do.

I would stop making myself available to be abused. He can't abuse you if you don't allow it. Tell him you won't live like that and it needs to stop now. Stop rewarding him for being a punk.

It sounds like he needs anger management classes and men like this just more and more abusive if not stopped. So, I would give him a chance to change or I would plan on separating.

He used to be physically abusive but after the emotional breakdown i had he quit now he resorts to saying anything nasty he can. He tries to apologize later on but its starting to wear thin. I've told him he needs counseling and hes admitted it to but he still wont go. I know a lot of his problems stem from his father. He will call my husband up out of the blue and scream at him when he has some kind of problem. When his dad lived with his ex girlfriend he left my husband alone. Now he is constantly yelling at him and blaming him for his problems. Hes even called me when he couldn't get a hold of my husband and yelled at me. Not only that he has my husband into abusing pain killers. He tries to stop but his dad and uncle both keep pushing him into doing it.

I would make plans to separate, hopeless, for at least a year. Your H is dangerous until he learns some good anger management skills and changes his behavior. His angry outbursts will lead to physical assault in the future.

This man has already caused you to have a nervous breakdown. Why wait around for more?

He won't be motivated to change unless you stop accommodating his abuse and demand that he move out and get help. He needs anger management help and drug addiction help. He is not safe for you until both are addressed and resolved. And with a wife beater, it is better for him to resolve his problems from AFAR.

he hasnt hit me in 3 years the 4th year was fine. Then his dad moved back up here and its gone downhill the last year. I hate to say it but while his dad may be nice to my face i know he is trying to talk my husband into leaving. Hes been stupid enough to let slip a few things to my face. He talks about how we will never get anywhere in life if Im not working. especially when we talk about buying a home. He puts my husband down by telling him he cant do any better with his life then he is now. Ive talked to my husbands mom who i have a good relationship with and she has told me the same things that i have thought (my husbands dad abused her when they were married). That his dad is trying to keep him under his thumb and do his dirty work for him. Keep in mind that his dad used to sell a certain illegal thing and his mom thinks that he is trying to force me out to get him to do it for him. I'm the one that has gotten him to straighten his life out and now that daddy is around again he is sinking back into it.

I would like to move away and so would my husband and we both know it would help but the fact of his other son keeps us from being able to.

hopeless, your husband's bad behavior is 100% his fault. It has nothing to do with his parents. He needs to get into anger management classes and you should stop tolerating his abuse.

His parents are a separate issue that can be handled after your husband changes his behavior.
