Betrayal comes with surprise
Shock and awe of the possibility
That one called friend
Lies so easily and brazen
Trust is gone, probably never there
Betrayer is who they were all along
We just didn't know it.
Good wins out. The proof is in the pudding. So they say.
Just wait and see.
