In my reply to Mirror, I am asking Mirror to slow down and relax. He says he's "joking". He's not funny. I think Mirror is very sad. Deeply so. LINK to first thread.

You are way behind the curve, PB. I am, not to put too fine a point on it, thrilled about the recovery of my marriage or should I say , my NEW marriage. **edit** Dr. Harley's principles are "guidelines", for recovery of a marriage. MB is a valuable tool, sometimes a necessary tool, but only a tool. **edit** Well, I don't buy that idea and will use what I feel the need to use and disgard what I feel is not applicable to my situation. Many, in fact , most of his ideas, I have found useful and have implimented them in my marriage. **edit**

MM-
Please read some of the threads with other posters.
You will see that you are not being singled out, or picked on.
I don't know what your moral code is, or where it is okay for you to have a trip with a woman who is not your wife, but I would encourage you to sit back and think hard about why this particular point is causing this reaction in you.
As for dogma- I think most of us here understand that the path to recovery is narrow - for both the BS and the WS. Your actions are not reflecting that understanding. You can have a recovered marriage, and you can find great satisfaction and happiness. But think hard about why you are objecting- we are telling you that you shouldn't go on vacations with other women.
That's hardly a horrible request to make of a man who claims to want reconciliation.
Thanks for all the support along the way. I wish you all well. I'm outta here. Peace.

THe MB program works, but it is like any other program for the betterment of your health or marriage...you must stick carefully to it.
One year becomes two, two years becomes five, five becomes ten and before you know it, you've wasted your whole life on a problem you can't solve. That's one way to spend your life. -rwinger
I will not spend my life this way.

Yes. But you don't understand the objections. Or why it was a bad idea. And your reaction to the posters who pointed it out just confirms it.
Thanks for all the support along the way. I wish you all well. I'm outta here. Peace.

Ridic, I, very patiently, described why I would never have an affair, I've tried , to the best of my ability to show that I am not EVERYBODY, and that THIS is not every situation. But it does no good. You won't try to see any other POV than your own, so this is a waste of your time and mine. I wish that the moderators would close this thread, because it is becoming tiresome, and I'm tired of repeating myself.
