Yes, we live in a recreational fishing area in florida, and we're both big into salt-water fishing. We have a boat ramp to the Gulf of Mexico 5 min from the house and went when she got home from work and had a lot of fun. I caught a nice seatrout. She didn't catch anything but day before yesterday she kicked my butt catching a bunch, including one HUGE trout. I didn't catch much and she says sweetly, "You taught me everything I know about fishing so..."

Having a concrete plan saves you from tail spinning like that, I went round and round in toxic circles for 3 years and it my marriage more harm than my H affair to begin with and that's something I don't wish on anyone. Recovery is not easy but as long as you have a willing partner to do the hard work with you are in a better position than many of th BS on here,
Keep on reading learning, growing and applying the MB principals and before you know it you will be in recovery.

I'm realizing more and more how lucky I am reading people's posts who have unwilling partners. I've been struggling against the chains instead of looking for the keys.

I'm really glad that you found the help and are now working towards a better marriage. Just remember its not always going to be easy but if you have a plan and stick to it you will get the in the end.
