As many of you know, I detest week-ends.

First the yucky stuff.
Again this weekend bozo spent most of his sleeping time on the couch, again. I hate that ! I am going to get rid of that darn thing and replace it with 2 or 3 love seats, he's six foot tall so maybe he won't be able to sleep on them !
Now for the good stuff.
I went on another of my just me outings Friday.
Sunday I dyed my hair, bozo kept saying how gray I had gotten, he was right ! But I earned every one of those grey hairs ! anyway now my hair is a real dark brown !
And the best thing
bozo and I both post on another board, one that has nothing to do with marriage, there is a thread there called "What are you thankful for ?"
Well at the top of bozo's list was
"I am thankful I am married to a good woman"
I'm still throwing that couch out though !

------------------
Just call me - Deb
------------------------
The only day I can do anything about is today, yesterday is gone, tomorrow is not yet mine.

Tee hee hee hee! You are among the living again! A sign of normalacy, but I agree with the darn couch throwing. I want to throw the TV out the door! I am so sick of hearing the kids and him watch tv while I work on cleaning the house. Silly me! Why would that bother me? [Linked Image from marriagebuilders.com]
Make next saturday a raking party and just go outside and start playing in the leaves and let everything else go! How much you wanna bet he gets up off the couch???? Have fun in front of him and he will get tired of laying around not having fun without you! Deb -- I think what you're doing is great. You have to look out for yourself once in a while. As for the couch, be careful what you wish for...W complained that in the evenings, I spent too much time in front of the TV or computer and in the next breath said I spent too much time trying to be with her and following her around. Just be absolutely sure you want Bozo hanging around you that much(assuming he finds love seats uncomfortable). LOL

hi deb, sitting on the floor is good for you! Dump the sofa, sit on the floor until you can afford a nice set of hardback chairs? [Linked Image from marriagebuilders.com]
I think all those gray hairs had bozo written on them somewhere!
Have a great week, cl

Good for you! As for the sofa, ask if you can join him. Interesting huh? Cover the sofa with pillow so there isn't enough room for him. TV was my problem I brought he brought into the bedroom didn't help.
------------------
di

i'm glad to hear it, deb.
btw, i know you live in an apartment, but the "raking party" works...i went out to do yardwork last weekend, without even asking for help, and wouldn't you know it? i only had to work alone for about 5 minutes, then there H was, doing all the hard stuff. [Linked Image from marriagebuilders.com]
hang in there!
julie

Deb, instead of throwing out the couch, maybe you could find one where you remove the pillows on the back and it becomes wide enough for two!!!!
I'm happy to hear about the new board, and Bozo's comments!
God Bless you my dear friend.
TNT
PS - your hair looks fabulous!!!

Deb,
I vote for getting rid of the couch too.
Hey, if you decide to donate that couch, give me a holler.... I still don't have one [Linked Image from marriagebuilders.com].
I guess it's a little late for me to have a leaf raking party.... H doesn't even know where I live now. Of corse, he did offer to come over and help me remove the peach tree from my car a couple of weeks ago. We had a pretty good snow, and the treas were still all green, and it split the darn thing right in half..... and one half landed right on my car! Thankfully it didn't do any damage, and my landlord and one of his friends came over and carted it away for me. OH well, off on another tangent....
B
------------------
My favorite quote....
"Hello, this is God. I will be handeling your problems today. I will not need your help, so sit back and have a good day."
You guys are sooooo great !!!!
No hard chairs here, I broke my tail-bone bad when I was a kid, and sometimes it hurts really bad, hard seats makes it worse.
At least I didn't have a fit and gripe at him for sleeping on the couch, this time.
actually, I am happier than I have been in a long while, I can't speak for him.
Mike has headed for work, and tonight is m shot night. Oh joy !
------------------
Just call me - Deb
------------------------
The only day I can do anything about is today, yesterday is gone, tomorrow is not yet mine.
