I don't know what to do I have considered seperation/divorce but don't want to end up like my parents still married but have been seperated since 11yrs now 28. My husband ex-military is not much help and does not emotionally understand me. I have asked for help and he pretty much calls me weak when it comes to being able to handle taking care of our two girls..going to school fulltime..taking extra courses...and working fulltime healthcare 12 hour shifts. He says that I give up on everything I do and I don't try. He says everytime I get weak and burnt out that when he was in the military he did nothave the option to quit so why would I do so so easily. Previous accident has made it where I am not fully capable to hold up patients as I would have been beforethe accident. I am terribly emotional and confused and I don't know what to do . He has threatened to leaveandtakemy only means of transportation and our daughter we had after being married.mind you while doing all the things I do I get very little sleep he doesnot work because he gets money from va and they pay him Togo toschool I'm looked upon as being lazy and a quitter when I feel likejist letting him take over with my daily activities such as children and bring extra money in

With all that you describe, it sounds like you and your husband cannot possibly be getting enoughh time alone together to create romantic love. Is there something that you would like to set aside for now, like school? At least the extra coursework. You can't work yourself into a frenzy and then complain you are burnt out...you learn what you can hamdle and only do that much.

Have you read the basic concepts yet? Go do that. Come back with questions.

Marriage is the triumph of imagination over intelligence. Second marriage is the triumph of hope over experience.

This is a Disrespectful Judgement. Your H is abusing you. This is why you feel emotional and confused: the guy who promised to care for you when you got married is now acting like your enemy!

Again, DJ. Your H is putting you down. Perhaps he does this because he wants to control you. Or maybe he just enjoys hurting other people, especially you. You need healthy boundaries.

Now he is threatening you. Definitely abusive.

Start listening to MB Radio every day, read all the material on this site, especially all the things on Love Busters. His behavior is abusive and controlling, and unless he makes serious changes, you should leave him, and take your daughter with you.

No way could he take away your daughter. We all know the law usually sides with the Mom, unless she's strung out on drugs or a prostitute or something.

Dr. Harley's material will help you SO MUCH! Read it, email the radio show, get the books! Your H would greatly benefit too. Instead of continuing his abusive ways, he could become a caring person - a great Dad for your daughter, and a wonderful husband. He'd also feel better about himself because he'd be acting better.

You deserve to have a great marriage. Read MB material to find out that this means. Then come back with questions and for clarification.

Good luck! ((((((L4L))))))

This is a sign of depression. No wonder, you've been living with an abusive man. I would strongly recommend that you get on anti-depressant medication - after talking to your Dr., of course!

You will feel better almost immediately, and will be able to make rational decisions, rather than feeling 'stuck' and helpless.
