Is this for real?

What part were you listening too? Today's show 4-11-12? I have listened to it and I can't hear it, but maybe I'm missing something?

Yes, for real, today's show 4-11-12.
They mentioned it yesterday too, the caller from MN who's husband moved to TX. They mentioned the "cheese bowl behavior"?
Maybe its spelled differently, that's how I heard it.

Yesterday 4-10-12 was about Erin and they were in Minnesota and he moved to Missouri. Is that the one you are talking about? Do you remember which segment? I'm listening again.

Oh I think I know what you heard.

Dr. H says her WH has machismo.

Here 8:00 minutes in:
Radio Segment where Dr. H says "Machismo"

Machismo, or machoism, is a word of Spanish and Portuguese origin that describes prominently exhibited or excessive masculinity.[1] As an attitude, machismo ranges from a personal sense of virility to a more extreme male chauvinism. Characteristics include domineering, fierceness, bravado, etc., in ways that are showily and histrionically tough

Ohhh! smile LOL, I knew I wasn't quite catching what they said.
I've still never heard of it... this effect or behavior?

Thank you for the clarification.

HAHA LOL
No problem. Her WH was from Cuba.

This was from Wikipedia

I'm totally going to start using 'cheese bowl behavior'.

MrsW stole the story I told her!

Last year, my daughter sent me an email about my S14's Facebook status. This was the status:
_______________________________

In the car with the radio on earlier:
Dad: Are they saying 'Like a CHEESESTICK'??
Me: No, it's G6
Dad: What?
Me: G6
Dad: What's that?
Me: A plane
Dad: A play?
Me: A PLANE!

... The difficulties of having a 60 year old father smirk
___________________________

The trouble was that, even though I found the "deaf" exchange funny, I didn't really get it because I'd never heard the song. So after my daughter told me what a "G6" was, she then had to tell me that this was a song, and that it has recently been released, and that it was by something called a pop group...

I'm even more of a dinosaur than their 60 year-old father. I was very impressed that MrsW got the reference straight away!

LOL! Don't be that impressed -- I only got it because I can't control our 12 year old daughter who controls all the stereos around here! grin

Reminds me of the car commercial with the folks mis-singing "Rocket Man".

There's a whole website devoted to mis-heard lyrics here.

my wh and i once had a phone call that went like this:

him (foreign accent), calling from vegas: i went into a porn shop today.
me: oh ... really?
him: they had a lot of tools.
me: is that a euphemism?
him: what???
(silence)
him: a PAWN shop, a P-A-W-N shop - you have a dirty mind!
