Well, I guess I already knew it was.
My H told me, in addition to denying that he had anything going on with Cafe Woman, that he had never told her anything about my suspicions.
So, since she is supposed to be a casual friend who has not had an affair with my H, and since she supposedly knows nothing about what's been going on between H and me, wouldn't it be a natural occurance for her to say to him, "Hey, H! How are you?" if and when she sees him?
Well, we went to a party Saturday night. Cafe Woman and her BF were there. She finally spoke to me when someone she was talking to spoke to me. However, she totally ignored my H! She never said the first word to him, even though she walked right by him on her way to the buffet table.
So, am I coming to the right conclusion in thinking that my H has discussed my suspicions with her and told her that there is to be absolutely no contact between them?
hi sweetpea, hmmmm, this is kind of an odd reaction, so understand why you are suspicious. But don't jump to conclusions. Maybe some other strange incident occurred? Maybe he insulted her? Hard to say, but don't assume he is lying.
Have no idea how one would disprove that he did not talk to her about your suspicions without lovebusting??? All the badgering in the world would likely not get that man to talk anyways!
Be patient, don't assume!!

I agree.
You have what you ultimately wanted, in that you have a husband now who is paying attention to you and moving past the past.
So, your quest to "know it all" makes you want to jump to conclusions. Beware! Stick to the facts!
Facts are the only thing you can believe at this point!
I am thrilled she is speaking to you, but not your husband. This is great.
That is progress.
TNT

Sweetpea: Now it is my to turn to respond to you. First of all, thank you for giving me your experiences on the post "What's happened". You had and still have the strength to hang on and live in the midst of adversity. Second, my youngest child is nick-named "Sweetpea". I named her that because I saw her as my precious little one who's smile lit up the room. Her smile still lights up the room and she comforts me when I am not feeling well. This is not to say my other children are not special to me, they are, but each in their own special way. Plus they are all older and have families now. Anyway, back to the original message. You "Sweetpea" are precious who's smile, I am sure lights up the room and I am sure your spouse see's that as well. Take it one step at time. A hug, kiss or pat on the shoulder just to let him know that you're still there. Hopefully he will get the picture and realize where his heart should be. A friend of mine told me today in helping me make amends with my spouse that sometimes it's our actions that speak louder than words. My love to you
