I think i have a problem. I had around a dozen bottle of nail polish prior to d-day....it was suggested to do something for myself....paint your toenails....i fear my obsession has now spiraled out of control. I now own 41 bottles.....and i am going shopping for more....thank goodness i dont buy the expensive ones.... I will update later my new finds.

I have about 95.
But, my roommate whom I inherited 5 cats from collected nail polish. She had a hoarding problem. 91 of them came from Charlotte, 3 were purchased to mark wood in a home improvement project, and 1 came with my lipstick from Estee Lauder.
I paint my toes daily!

SC.....she is 5....and all girly girl.... So, my point is, she surely isn't responsible for much of that collection. You can't blame that astronomical number of bottles on your daughter!

WOW
I am not blaming my child at all.....nor was it ever intended to come across that way.
I had intended to make a fun thread......i apologize for any misunderstanding.....
And when we do nails we do them together, something that we enjoy doing.
Just so surprised something meant to be fun and light is getting turned around.

LogansRun, I could be wrong, but my guess is that SC meant that as a tongue-in-cheek, silly comment. Sarcasm maybe? Its wonderful you & your DD share the girly-ness. Girls gotta have sparkles! My DD is 17 months old and so far loves hairbows & necklaces! It'll be fun when she's old enough to get some sparkly pedis together.

Just so surprised something meant to be fun and light is getting turned around. Oh, Logan, I'm so sorry! I get into trouble so often for writing like that. I thought I'd cured myself of that when I started posting on forums and saw how the written word does not convey tongue-in-cheek at all well. I had several instances of upsetting people like that when I first posted on this forum, and I tried to stop... It's a British thing. We often try to use a dry style of humour. The trouble is, when I do it in writing, it often is not funny - or maybe I just tell bad jokes. I do apologise. I thought it funny to read you saying "it's not all me - some of it is my daughter!" I do hope the thread takes off again and people enjoy posting to it. I'm sorry I said anything to bring down the mood, and especially for upsetting you.

I tend to be dry and sarcastic as well....i just saw the exclamation point instead of a cheesy grin and was like woahhhhh....it is so easy to get misunderstood......it happens to me alot and i figured if people misinterprete me....then it is something i am doing incorrectly....so it is something i am working on as well......... But since you believe i am blaming my daughter for my NPC she makes me do it and it is all her fault who knew little princesses could be sneaky with their head tilted, smiling, and going pleeeeaaaaaasssse.

I see what you did there. I've been told off by a good friend on these boards for not using smilies. Apparently, they make all the difference and stop you from getting into trouble. I did take her advice and use them for a while, but then I forgot and now I'm back to hardly doing it at all... I hope I've learned my lesson now and this never happens again!

BTW, I don't agree with buying your own nail polish.
I think you should go to a salon, switch on the chair that gives a massage, hand over 20 and relax while someone transports your feet to heaven. Mine are overdue for buffing up and I'm going on Saturday!

And, it's about $80 a horse.
