First time poster. I have been trying to keep my marriage together for the last 2-1/2 years and I am encouraged and excited to find this website.

I have gotten away from the begging and pleading stage that I would get into every once in awhile. I have been doing some of the 180 and also starting living for myself. Keeping a very up-beat attitude and have started seriously working out again like I use to.

My two kids are now the focal point of my life, not that they werent before but I really make sure to have great times with them.

I have to say, taking care of myself before my wife right now feels super!! I know that sounds selfish but I have neglected myself all this time. I have more of an up-beat attitude at work, home and just all the time. My friends who know what i am going thru tell me that.

I'll post my story later, just wanted to say thanks to all on this website and it has given me knowledge and a new perspective about my situation.

Thank you all.

Are you divorcing?

Have you read the basic concepts?

Too much hurt and pain on both sides that my brain hurts just thinking about it all.
