Does "Indecent Proposal" count? it glorifies it at first .. but in the end it was a disaster and they regretted it. (at least i think thats how it went?) I could be wrong and get a few 2x4's ??

I think I have only seen 2 infidelity movies. One was Unfaithful, which I thought was fabulous!

And the other was "Bridges of Madison County" where some old skank did this man in her OWN HUSBAND'S bed while he was at the fair with their children. It was a real PUKER!! puke Her poor kids were left to find out their mother was a skank when they were cleaning out her things after she passed.[found her adultery letters from her pig boyfriend] What a nice present to leave for your kids! crazy

Presumed Innocent.

The BW murdered the OW and sets up her WH for the murder. BUT because he didn't do it he was found not guilty. Fantastic turn at the end.

I know. In the vow the poor H is not exactly coping with infidelity, but with a complete loss of memory that is the same thing!
But I wouldn't compare his pain w/ true infidelity so It doesn't qualify I think.

Have you noticed how few movies against I exist and how many others that glorify it? Even good old Dr Zhivago was about extramarital love!

And yes, the Bridges is the poster movie about As along with the English Patient. AND OM is Clint Eastwood for God's sake so what chances do the poor H has? smile

I don't think many people have seen s,l and v. Do it! The H is doing it with her SISTER , it shows how they laugh behind W's back. BUT, then in a very strange twist smth more important than sex comes along and both sisters dumb him! Reversing the top EN in a blink! This would be therapeutic for OPs too!

I think it counts as I loved this movie... and Ashley Judd plays a kicka55 BW!

As for Indecent Proposal... I watched this in my early teens (13?) and thought how wrong it all was. Even then I was opposed to the idea of money overiding fidelity and saying I would never accept money as a substitute for loyalty. Not many of my peers or even the general public agreed though.
