I almost lost my best friend last night. She has been my lifeline thru all this, while she has been going thru the breakup of her own marriage. No infidelity problems with her tho. Just a very bad situation.

We had spent a nice day together, shopping, lunch and a few too many beers. I went home and was taking a nap, when she came back and asked me to get her to the hospital. She had taken about a dozen sleeping pills and self-mutilated. I got her to emergency, and physically she will be ok. But my heart is breaking for her, the pain she must be in to do this to herself. So I am asking for your prayers for her, that she will eventually come to see how she is worth so much and deserves happiness.

AtW, My prayers are with both you and your friend. Everyone needs someone to help get them through rough times. You all here are my friends and life line. I know that I would be lost without all of your support. So now I pray that your friend recieves the medical and psychological attention that she needs. Be there for her and we'll be here for you. God Bless.
------------------
That Which does not kill us makes us stronger.

ATW,

Count me in. I am so very sorry to hear this news of your friend and your support person. I see this stuff almost every day. I can't say that I don't understand it. I was very close too. Just couldn't do it.
Medic
