Hello to everyone out there on the forum. My wife and I love the policy of joint agreement, and have been using them for about 5 years. We have been married for about 10 years and have three younger children. I would say that since we started living the POJA, that our marriage has strongly improved.
I do have a quick question though...My wife and I are brainstorming and found we have different ideas of what it means. We both agree that we make a list putting anything and everything we can think of on it. Where we are having trouble is how much thought and consideration to give each idea before it is discarded or accepted. For example, we have been looking at houses and have a list of different houses/areas we have been considering. There is a builder we feel is in our price range and I would like to seriously consider as an option. My wife has looked at the plans and picture on their website and does not want to consider building with them. I feel like we haven't done enough research to know fully what our options with this builder are as what is represented on the website is very limited. She feels like she has done enough research to satisfy her questions and does not want this builder to remain on our list of options. Our question is, how much consideration does a spouse need to give to an option before being able to say they are or are not comfortable with it? Especially if one spouse feels like the other is making a decision without all the facts?

Our question is, how much consideration does a spouse need to give to an option before being able to say they are or are not comfortable with it? The spouse needs to give as much consideration as they see fit. Once she decides she is not comfortable with it, that option should be taken off the table. Especially if one spouse feels like the other is making a decision without all the facts? That would be a disrespectful judgement. Any spouse can dismiss any option on any basis, facts or not.
