We were talking for 5 days to be exact and are back to his Angry Outburst yesterday. I'm reading Love Busters and on Chapter 2 of disrespectful judgement.
Yesterday's argument ended with the day. Today after work he was going to help organize at home. When it didnt happen at the end of the day I asked him why he didnt do as he had said and how he is not doing his part.
I understand I shouldnt be making demands. At the same time be convincing enough when asking for a request. Its tough when an agreement is to be made just coming out of/ after an argument. In the end he made another judging statement (that i'm a mess) and it was the end of conversation.
How does one turn it around? Or anyone have some suggestion.

You cannot control what he does. You can only control what you will put up with. What are your boundaries?

Instead of asking why he didn't do something, you should state how you felt that he didn't do it. As well as how you felt when he called you a "mess". Your boundary is that you tell him that you will not be treated that way and that you will separate from him if it continues. Then stand by your word.
