I have found a great resource of some explanations on forgiveness and various other biblical related stuff.

Here is a link to one particular article written by them. It explains what forgiveness looks like in the eyes of god through the word of god. I never really looked at forgiveness like this before .. so it was DEF an eye opener.

I bring this up because most of my extended family has been very abusive to me and my family during my life. I never really recognized (or just accepted it as normal) it until this year especially as christmas approached and my therapist has pointed out a fair bit as i gave my family history. There is actually quite a bit of stuff to read on that site that gives bible teachings on different subjects.
