for anyone who's used these programs - i didn't bother moving my WS's iphone backup to my computer, so i loaded these programs onto his computer in order to view the iphone backup. he's not computer savvy at all, will there be a way for him to figure out these are on his computer other than checking the applications folder? like will there be any pop-ups or anything? i bought both programs, they're not trial versions. as far as i can see, the only way would be for him to check the applications folder.

specifically, for the wondershare program - when i look at the deleted photos attached to texts, what happens when you click recover photos? where do they go on a mac? i'm wondering if i can recover them, save them to a flash drive and then delete wherever they were placed. i want to be sure that they don't show up in iphoto or go back onto his phone when he does the next backup.

They do not have popups. In windows I installed them and then deleted the desk top and start menu shortcuts. So the only way to know they were there was to go to program files and start them from their folder. When you recover I think it asks you where you want to save the recovered files to. You can Also select only the particular files that you want to recover.
