Are you in Plan B with your EX? And your XWW's daughter?

I don't understand your question.

Yes I'm in plan B with XWW. My XWW daughter does nothing but instigate and create chaos so, I guess, the answer to your second question is yes too.

I'm completely done with my XWW, so it still Plan B? I'm just totally done with her. The world she describes does not represent reality, not going back, working on my new life...

You're not in Plan B if you are in contact with her.

Plan B is not about whether you plan to reconcile or not, or whether you are done or not. In fact, it's not a plan to save your marriage; for men it typically does not. Plan B is about shielding yourself from her chaos.

If you are serious about saving your marriage, you can't get it all on this forum. You've got to listen to the Marriage Builders Radio show, every day. Install the app!

Yes I'm in plan B with XWW.
The posters are pointing out that you are NOT in Plan B with your ex. You took a text from her. When you're in Plan B you have NO contact with the wayward/ex. You are not in Plan B. I suspect you're in "Plan I'll Only Talk To Her If I Absolutely Have To."

That Plan is ineffective and is not Plan B.

Exactly.

If she causes you chaos=you should be in a dark Plan B to protect you from THEIR chaos.

Understood, and I am in plan B. I blocker her phone number and changed my cell phone number. Even if she gets my new number, both the ex and ex step daughter, they are blocked.

Thanks for the clarification.

Good.

So you should never hear from her again? There's no need for her to contact you, correct?

Yes, never again!

I mail alimony, she mails child support. Any remainined interactions are limited to the divorce settlement and I handle those through my lawyer.

This past Friday my divorce became final. It's been a relief, really. After putting Plan B into effect things got to be much better. Once I found out about the affair I really had no chance. Plan B will either get a WS to snap out of it or get the BS moving on their way sooner.

So my teenager daughter lives with me, I have a great relationship with my son and his wife and my WW is off with her new BF and has nothing to do with the kids from our marriage, her daughter from her first marriage and her grand kids. Amazing how somebody can through away half a life. Ok, enough about that.

The farther I've gotten away from the situation I realize I should've implemented Plan B much sooner! For those of you on the fence or having doubts, work though it. As I mentioned I really had no chance but I would've gotten my life back sooner if I just listened to those telling me go to Plan B.

I'm glad to hear that you're in a better place, Capt. Best wishes to you!
