I think it may be beneficial to share books being read for any possible discussion,,,

I am nearly finished with The Adventurers by Harold Robbins. I have previously read The Carpetbaggers and The Raiders which he also authored.

Has anyone read this book or seen the movie?

Tonight I take a small break and stay up an extra hour to watch Blue Bloods.
Its a show I highly recommend starring Tom Selleck.
It is a moral show where the characters always make the right decisions in tough situations

I've been reading the Shining. My first King, and I find it so slow at times, and then in others great. Seeing Jack slowly go nuts...

I also started on the Godfather today. I've seen the movie but the book is better!

I will not spend my life this way.

I'm reading MaddAddam by Margaret Atwood. It's the final book in her trilogy by the same name. She is by far my favorite post-apocolyptic dystopian author.

I used to be an avid reader, going through 2-3 books per month. Since D-day, I don't have the concentration I used to and only managed 2 or 3 books since then (not counting Dr Harley's of course smile
