I'm in school at the moment, but I intend to at least try.

Is anyone else doing it this year?

It's this online challenge to write a 50,000 word novel in one month. smile

I just wrote 8 pages for my nephew.
I'm mailing it with his birthday card.
He finds a magic baseball and it transports him and his brother to the year 550 BC.

Its a "choose your path" and he has a choice of what to do, he checks the box and mails it back to see what happens next

Not I. I have 7 weeks left until my B.A. is earned (!!!) and in the interest of securing a job at the end of it, I am also interning at a magazine *and* a radio station. So in juggling an 18-hour semester, two internships, a marriage, and four kids, I just don't have time. frown

Soon, though. Very, very soon!

We are still making sure to keep time for dates, and as we are both politically involved, we've had lots of long conversations. Very interesting times for the political mind. H is great at keeping us going out together. He'll call on his way home and say, "Let's go get a beer and some wings," and I'll think about all I have to do, and say, "Yep!" because the real fun is found in having everything to do...and not doing it. smile

Good luck with NaNo!

Marriage is the triumph of imagination over intelligence. Second marriage is the triumph of hope over experience.
